About the Program
Dance & Aerial Addiction is a dance, aerial and tumbling studio on South Boulder Highway in Henderson, with students from preschoolers to adults. The founder, Svitlana Rohozhyna is a professional aerialist and dancer who has performed in more than 50 countries.
Dance classes cover ballet, jazz, tap, technique, hip hop, contemporary and musical theater. The aerial side teaches trapeze, aerial silks, hammock and aerial hoop, and the tumbling program runs from rolls and cartwheels up to back handsprings. Dancers who want to compete can look at the Divas Competition Team. The season runs from August to May.
Tuition is monthly. Dance is $79 a month for one class a week, $149 for two and $199 for three, and aerial costs a bit more, $89 a month for one class a week or $159 for two. Drop-ins are $20 for dance and $25 for aerial, and siblings get 10% off.
The first dance or aerial class is free for new students, which is a good way to see whether a child likes silks before you commit. The studio is open Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM; call 702-558-0600.

First Visit Guide
What most dance studios expect. Confirm the details with Dance & Aerial Addiction before you go.
What to bring
- Leggings or shorts with a fitted top, nothing your child can trip on
- Bare feet or socks are fine for a trial. Don't buy ballet, tap, or jazz shoes until the studio tells you the exact style and color they want.
- Hair pulled back, water bottle
Before you go
- Ask about the dress code before you buy anything.
- Come early for the waiver and to find the right studio room.
- Ask how parents watch. Some studios have windows, some have lobby monitors, some are drop-off only.
The first visit
A trial class is normal: warm-up, moving across the floor, and a short routine. The recital and costume fees come months later. Ask when those decisions are due so nothing surprises you.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Mirrors, music, and a room full of kids is a lot at once. Ask if your child can watch a class first, and whether the studio runs smaller classes.
