About the Program
Peace Way Christian Center is an Assemblies of God church at 7570 Peace Way in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas, and its youth group, Peace Way Youth, is for ages 11 to 17. Pastor David L. Childers has led the church since it began in 1985.
Peace Way Youth gets together Sundays at 5 PM in the Chapel Building for teaching, friendship and honest talk about faith. Younger kids have a Children's Church during the Sunday morning service, taught by the church's youth director, who also leads worship.
Sunday services are at 9:00 am and 3:30 pm and last about an hour, starting with music from the worship team and song lyrics on a screen. Comfortable clothes are fine, and in summer shorts are welcome as long as they are a modest length. Visitors can let the offering pass without giving, and parking is anywhere in the church lot.
Parents can sign up for a free Apologetics and Theological Bible study on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m., which runs in blocks of about 6 weeks. Call 702.462.6155 to ask what ages Children's Church serves and which service it meets in.
