About the Program
Summerlin Church sits at 2100 Snow Trail in the 89134 part of Summerlin and runs Sunday classes for babies through preteens, plus teen Bible studies and a 16+ youth service. It is a Bible-teaching Baptist church tied to the Nevada Baptist Convention of the SBC.
On Sunday mornings, the nursery for babies and toddlers runs 10:00-noon, with the service streamed into the room so a parent can stay. Preschoolers through 5th graders sit with their families for the music, then leave for class during the sermon. Early Childhood covers ages 3-6 with songs, crafts, games and memory verses, and Preteen Classes take ages 7-12. The curriculum, Generations of Grace, works through the whole Bible over three years and sends a short lesson home each week.
AWANA @ Summerlin Kids meets Sundays from 3:30-5:30 September - May, with games, snacks and verse memorizing. Younger teens in middle school and early high school have a Thursday night Bible study, and older teens ages 16+ can go Monday at 7:30 or the SNL service Saturday at 5:30pm.
Register kids online before the first Sunday. First-time visitors get reserved parking, and there is no dress code. The church also opens its field for block parties in October, January, April and July.
