About the Program
Flip For Me Gymnastics is a southwest Las Vegas gym on Duneville Street that moved into its two-story building in August 2017. Inside are two spring floors, bars and vault over a pit of fabric covered cubes, beams at several heights, and a two-level parent viewing area with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Classes start young. Baby Bees is for babies 9 to 23 months. Tumble Buddy 2's is a 45-minute class with a parent for children 24 months to 3 years, 3-All-Me is for Ages 3 to 4 on their own, and Fantastic 4's is a one-hour class for Ages 4 to 5. Girls 6 to 8 who are new to gymnastics start in Rubies One, and beginners 9 and up start in Rubies Two, once or twice a week. There are ninja classes for ages 5 to 6 and 6 and up, a competitive team from Level 2 through Level 10 plus Xcel, and hip hop and jazz classes the gym says are starting soon.
The gym also runs a Special Attention program for people with disabilities, usually in a group but with one-on-one classes available by arrangement. It is building an interest list now, so call 702-202-0020 to get on it.
Recreational classes run in four-week sessions or by the month, and every child needs a signed trial form or waiver before the first class. Girls wear a leotard or fitted shorts with hair pulled back; boys wear shorts and a T-shirt. Each class category has its own schedule and fees, so ask when you book.

First Visit Guide
What most gymnastics gyms expect. Confirm the details with Flip For Me Gymnastics before you go.
What to bring
- A leotard, or a fitted t-shirt with shorts or leggings. No buttons, zippers, snaps, or skirts.
- Bare feet, hair tied back, water bottle
- Leave jewelry at home.
Before you go
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for waivers.
- Most gyms keep street shoes off the floor, so easy slip-offs help.
- Ask where the parent viewing area is.
The first visit
Class runs in stations: bars, beam, floor, trampoline, with coaches rotating the groups. Classes group by age first, then skill, and you'll usually get a placement recommendation after class.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Gyms are big, loud, and busy to look at. Ask about weekday morning classes, and whether they run a quieter open play time. Several valley gyms do.
