About the Program
Fuzion 5 Athletics runs a Functional Speed & Strength program for ages 9 to 15 at the Indoor 5 soccer arena on Caballo Street in the south of Las Vegas. It is not a soccer class: it is an 8 week block of speed and strength work for kids who play any sport, from football and volleyball to basketball and baseball.
Sessions cover sprint starts, cutting and stopping, jumping and landing, core and rotation work, and strength training with kettlebells, dumbbells, bands and bodyweight, with mobility work built into each day. Coaches run baseline tests and track sprint times and jump height as the weeks go on.
The structure is flexible. Classes run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 5:00 to 6:15 PM, and athletes sign up for the days that fit their practice schedule. The full season is $150 (prorated if you join after it starts), or $25 for a single day drop-in. Two yearly fees also apply: a $25 Annual Facility Fee and a $20 Fuzion 5 Annual Membership that includes a shirt.
