About the Program
Zemskov Dance Academy is a Las Vegas dance studio with classes starting at age 4 and running through teens and adults. Ballet training follows the Vaganova and Bolshoi methods, and the studio also teaches Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acro/Tumbling and Flamenco.
The youngest dancers, from age 4, start in the Ballet/Tap Combo, which mixes ballet, tap and creative movement. Preparatory Ballet takes kids from about age 5 and needs no experience. Starting at Beginning Ballet 1-3, the instructor places each student and two ballet classes a week are required; the upper levels add pointe work. Pre-jazz starts at age 5, Jazz and Tap at age 7, and Acrobatics/Tumbling at age 4. Teens who are new to ballet can join the Beginning Teen/Adult class.
Tuition is billed monthly by weekly hours: $75.00 a month for 1 hour per week, $120.00 for 2 hours, $160.00 for 3, $195.00 for 4 and $225.00 for 5. There is a $25.00 registration fee, a single class without registering is $18.00, and private lessons are $70 for one hour. The first class is free; call 702-624-8637 to book it.

First Visit Guide
What most dance studios expect. Confirm the details with Zemskov Dance Academy before you go.
What to bring
- Leggings or shorts with a fitted top, nothing your child can trip on
- Bare feet or socks are fine for a trial. Don't buy ballet, tap, or jazz shoes until the studio tells you the exact style and color they want.
- Hair pulled back, water bottle
Before you go
- Ask about the dress code before you buy anything.
- Come early for the waiver and to find the right studio room.
- Ask how parents watch. Some studios have windows, some have lobby monitors, some are drop-off only.
The first visit
A trial class is normal: warm-up, moving across the floor, and a short routine. The recital and costume fees come months later. Ask when those decisions are due so nothing surprises you.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Mirrors, music, and a room full of kids is a lot at once. Ask if your child can watch a class first, and whether the studio runs smaller classes.
