About the Program

Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas is a drop-in dance studio for teenagers and adults, so it fits a teen who wants to take classes on their own schedule more than a young child starting out. The studio runs over 35 drop-in classes a week. Beyond regular classes it has a Dance Industry Program, Back to the Basics, a work study option, intensives, pop up classes and a fall showcase.

The pricing is simple. One class is $20, a 3 class pack is $45, 5 classes are $70 and 10 classes are $130. Packs expire 90 days after purchase, belong to one dancer, and are final sale with no refunds. They also do not cover pop up classes, workshops or events. College students with a current class schedule, SAG members and military ID holders can ask about special rates, which must be bought in person at the studio.

Call or text 702-790-4000 or email dance@mdclv.com to ask about a minimum age before your teen shows up for a first class.

First Visit Guide

What most dance studios expect. Confirm the details with Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas before you go.

What to bring

  • Leggings or shorts with a fitted top, nothing your child can trip on
  • Bare feet or socks are fine for a trial. Don't buy ballet, tap, or jazz shoes until the studio tells you the exact style and color they want.
  • Hair pulled back, water bottle

Before you go

  • Ask about the dress code before you buy anything.
  • Come early for the waiver and to find the right studio room.
  • Ask how parents watch. Some studios have windows, some have lobby monitors, some are drop-off only.

The first visit

A trial class is normal: warm-up, moving across the floor, and a short routine. The recital and costume fees come months later. Ask when those decisions are due so nothing surprises you.

For sensory-sensitive kids

Mirrors, music, and a room full of kids is a lot at once. Ask if your child can watch a class first, and whether the studio runs smaller classes.
