About the Program
Durango Hills YMCA at 3521 North Durango Drive in the northwest valley is run by the YMCA of Southern Nevada through a partnership with the City of Las Vegas. For parents the standout is Kids Gym, free on site child care for ages 3 months to 7 years while you work out, up to two hours, weekdays 8am to noon and 4pm to 6 or 7pm. Kids' programs across the Y include group and private swim lessons plus Diverse Abilities swim lessons, youth basketball, soccer, baseball and volleyball academies, gymnastics, jiu jitsu, cheer, hip hop, summer camp and Parent's Night Out. This branch has a seasonal outdoor water park with slides and a splash zone, an 8 lane 25 meter pool, indoor basketball, indoor and outdoor pickleball, and a Youth Engagement Center with a Dreamr Lab for ages 8 and up. Hours are 6am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and shorter Friday to Sunday. Program ages and prices are in the branch program guide; call (702) 240-9622.
