About the Program
Passion Tennis is a youth and adult tennis program at Capriola Park in Inspirada, Henderson, with kids starting in Little Tennis as early as two years old. Little Tennis uses reduced bounce balls and works on catching, throwing and hand-eye skills, then players move through Junior Beginner, Junior Intermediates and Junior Advanced, up to Team Passion for dedicated tournament players.
Every new player starts with a $45 private orientation and level assessment (30 minutes), which sets the group placement. Group clinics are 1 hour and run $25-35 per lesson, depending on level, group size, season and time slot; ask what the coach to player ratio is for your child's level, since the site lists different ratios by level. Players are expected to come twice a week, either two group clinics or one group plus one private.
Private lessons are $50 for a half hour, $70 for 45 minutes and $80 for an hour. Sharing cuts the cost: a semi-private hour is $50 per player and a three-person private is $40 per player. Team Passion is $480 per month on a full-year commitment or $560 per month without one.
