About the Program
Gymcats is a gymnastics, cheer and dance gym on Parkson Road in Henderson for girls and boys, with a free Baby Gym class for babies who can sit up but are not walking yet.
Baby Gym meets Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. It is built around play, gross motor work and getting babies around other babies, and it costs nothing, so it is an easy first outing for a new parent.
Older kids can pick recreational or competitive gymnastics, recreational cheer, trampoline and tumbling, or dance, which has a performance team and a recital. New families can book a free trial class before signing up. Founder Cassie Rice builds the gym around what she calls the 3 P's: Positivity, Perseverance, and Personal Responsibility.
Camps follow the CCSD calendar, running in summer and on school breaks, for kids ages 5+. Each day splits into a morning block from 9:00 to 12:00 and an afternoon block from 12:00 to 3:00, and each block is $35 per child when you sign up online ahead of time. Day-of sign ups cost more if spots remain, so book ahead of school breaks. Send comfortable athletic clothes, a water bottle and a snack or lunch.
