About the Program
Game On Tennis Program teaches small group tennis to kids and teens ages 3 to 17 at courts in Las Vegas and Henderson. Founder and head coach Darío Curbelo was born and raised in Cuba and has played and coached tennis most of his life. Court locations are shared once you inquire or book a trial.
Groups are split by age and level, with no more than 8 kids in the two starter levels. Beginner is a 1-hour class for ages 5 and up on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 pm and Saturdays at 8 am. It costs $175 a month for 2 days a week, $240 for 3 days a week, or $25 per drop-in. Beginner Plus, for ages 7 and up, runs 1.5 hours and costs $325 a month for 3 days a week, $400 for 4 days, or $40 per drop-in. Intermediate and Advanced take players 10 and up for 1.5 to 2.5 hours and add match play and tournament prep; Intermediate drop-ins are $50.
Kids under 5 meet the coach for a short evaluation first and start with private lessons only. Privates cost $40 for 30 minutes or $75 for an hour. Memberships hold your child's weekly spot, and makeups are allowed with notice. Trial classes depend on openings, so email gameon.tennis.program@gmail.com to ask.

First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Game on tennis program before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
