About the Program
GV Christian Center is a church on Valle Verde Court in Henderson whose kids and youth ministry, called NextGen, covers everyone from 6 weeks old through young adults.
There are three Sunday services, at 8:45 AM, 10:30 AM and 12:15 PM, and each runs about an hour and 5 minutes. During services, babies from 6 weeks to 2 years old go to childcare. Kids from 2 years old through junior high attend their own services, which cover the same Bible topic as the main service at their level, and high school students worship together in a high school room. The team page lists separate leaders for GV Littles, GV Kids and GV Youth.
For drop-off, every child is checked in on arrival and parents get a pick-up tag tied to the child's name tag. The church says all of its volunteers complete an application and a background check before serving. Pre-registering online speeds up check-in on your first Sunday. Parents can grab a coffee at the GV Cafe in the lobby, and the office number is 702-454-2722.
