Central Church - Henderson (Broadcast)

Central Church in Henderson, on New Beginnings Dr., runs Central Kids for children and Central Youth for middle and high schoolers, plus Kids Cove for kids 6 weeks through Grade 12 with special needs. The church also streams services online, but the kids programs meet in person.

On weekends, Central Kids groups children by age for Bible teaching, worship, games, prayer and small group time, built on the Grow Curriculum with one theme and memory verse each month. Families get a monthly overview so they can follow along at home. At check-in, parents receive a security code sticker, and only the adult holding it can pick up the child. Kids can come in whatever they like, but toy weapons and costume masks stay home.

Central Youth meets as CY Hangs every weekend, CY Nights once a month and Ignite once a year, a 5 day camp at Camp Forest Home, CA for grades 6 to 12. In summer, Kids Camp for 1st - 5th Grade runs three days at the Henderson campus from 9 AM till 4 PM for $100, which covers lunch, snacks and a t-shirt. Before and After Camp Care adds $5 per child per day, kids are placed in small groups of 8-10 by grade, the camp is nut-free, and financial help is available when donations allow.
