About the Program
Moving and Grooving is a boutique dance studio for kids at 10670 South Maryland Parkway, Suite 160, in Henderson, built for toddlers from 18 months up to 10 year olds. It is a no-pressure place to start, with no competitive or pre-professional dancers around, and the studio says all abilities and learning differences are welcome.
Classes are combos so kids get a bit of everything. Moving Together is a caregiver-and-tot class for 18 months to 3 years. Mini Movers (3 to 4 years) and the other Movers classes mix ballet, tap and tumbling, and Marvelous Movers (7 to 10 years) is ballet, tap and jazz. Acro classes are an add-on for kids already in a combo class.
Tuition is $72 a month per class, with no sibling or multi-class discount, plus a $35 registration fee. There is no contract; cancel with the form by the 25th. Missed classes can be made up within 4 weeks. Kids perform twice a year: a casual winter showcase ($45) and a costumed spring showcase ($85), with costumes and 2 tickets included. Dancers 4 and up can join the Henderson Winterfest parade for an extra fee.
