About the Program
Global Art Henderson on S Gibson Rd is an art school for ages 3 to 18, one location of a Global Art franchise that began in Malaysia in 1999. Kids in the Core Program learn to build a piece from their own idea, working through composition, drawing, shading, coloring and painting. There is also an Enhancement Program with acrylic painting, clay modeling, cultural art and cartoons and comics.
Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays in two sessions, 3.45pm to 5.15pm or 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Saturday sessions run 10.00am to 11.30am or 11.45am to 1.15pm, and Sunday sessions run 11:15am to 12:45pm or 1.00pm to 2.30pm. The center is closed Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Saturday afternoons from 1.30pm to 5.00pm are set aside for birthday parties.
During spring and summer breaks, art camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
You can book a free trial class before registering. Miss Kaytlin is the principal in Henderson, so ask her about tuition when you set up the trial.
