About the Program
North Las Vegas Baptist Church on West Washburn Road hosts an evening summer Bible program for ages 5 to 18, along with a regular Sunday and Wednesday class schedule.
The summer program has two ways in. Kids who register with the National Bible Bee arrive at 5:30 PM, when they recite, go over their Discovery Journal and work on competition pieces if they plan to try the fall competition. Families who skip registration come for the 6:15 to 7:30 PM session only. Most families just do the summer, and both groups get dinner and snacks, lesson time, music, crafts, prizes and memory challenges.
One thing to know before you sign up: registration and payment go through the National Bible Bee, not the church, and the church does not set the fees. Early bird prices open in March, and the Beginner Level price never goes up.
The rest of the year, Sunday discipleship classes start at 10:00 AM before the 11:00 AM morning service, and Wednesday midweek classes run from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Contact the church to ask which classes fit your child's age.
