About the Program

The Ink Spot Writing Studio teaches writers ages 7 to 17 from a studio on East Warm Springs Road near Green Valley. Kids can sign up for weekly classes, summer day camps, one-on-one tutoring or mentorship, and Saturday Kids Night Out events.

The studio calls its signature class, Electrifying Creative Writing, a great starting point for every student. Other class themes include Book Club, Video Production and Dungeons and Dragons. Weekly classes and camps keep to 10 students or fewer per teacher, and a child has the same teacher every week. Total enrollment is capped at 100 memberships, so some classes fill and keep a waitlist.

One class a week costs $139 a month, two a week cost $278 a month, and unlimited weekly classes are $349 a month. Private tutoring or mentorship is $299 a month for 45 minutes a week and needs a semester commitment. Class memberships bill month to month, though billing cannot change from March through May.

The school-year season runs Labor Day to Memorial Day, and new students can start at any point with a free trial class. Each summer brings 8 to 10 themed day camps at $349 to $499 a week, with themes like A Week at Hogwarts and Movie Magic.
