About the Program
Las Vegas Beach Volleyball is a junior sand volleyball club that trains at Sunset Park, with classes for ages 8 to 13 and competitive teams for ages 12 to 18. Traci Callahan founded the club in 2023.
Younger or newer players have two entry points. Fundamentals for Futures is a one-hour Saturday class from 10 to 11 AM for ages 8 to 13, covering strength, agility and the basics, and you can pay per session. Drop-in fundamentals sessions are open to ages 9 to 14.
The competitive membership is for junior high and high school athletes, who are placed on Regional or National teams for training and tournaments. Practice is Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, and athletes choose 1, 2 or 3 days a week. Fall practices are listed as Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 6pm and Saturday from 8 to 10am, with changes for weather; check the site for each season's times. The year continues with a Winter/Spring Season split into two sessions. Boys can sign up for training too.
Packages include unlimited memberships, punch cards and single drop-ins, and the seasonal membership fee covers a uniform. Call 760-835-2728 for current prices. Register at least 24 hours before any practice, and pack sand socks for hot sand.
