About the Program
Dig This Volleyball Club is a Las Vegas club team program run by owner, director and coach Raymond Fafard. Teams practice at the Centennial Hills YMCA on N. Buffalo Drive, the Heinrich YMCA on Meadows Lane and the Adelson Educational Campus on Hillpointe Rd. The club describes a Hawaiian-style family culture and says it tries to instill the Aloha spirit in its players.
For a family new to the sport, the monthly Academy is the easy way in. It has run for more than 10 years and is open to any age or level, even kids who already play for a different club. The posted sessions have the Centennial group on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 PM and the Heinrich group on Mondays and Wednesdays at the same time, and each month is its own session, so check the days for the month you want. Spots are sold first come, first served, so sign up early in the month.
Call 702-401-8886 to ask about the next club tryout dates. Check the age definition chart on the tryouts page to see which group your child falls in, because volleyball ages go by birth date, not grade.
Pack knee pads, since they are required, leave jewelry at home and bring water or a sports drink instead of soda. Ask about prices when you register.
