About the Program
Canyon Gate Country Club on Canyon Gate Drive in Las Vegas runs junior tennis and pickleball programs, but only for member families and their guests. The racquet shop sits inside this private club, so a membership comes first.
The club has 4 lighted hard tennis courts and 4 pickleball courts. Juniors can join skill development programs in both sports, take private lessons or clinics, and move into competitive matches. During school breaks, the club runs racquet and golf camps, and summer camp days include pool time. Young golfers follow the Crush It! curriculum, which runs from beginner fun days up to PGA Junior League play.
For families weighing the cost, the details matter. A membership covers a spouse and dependent children 25 and under, and you do not have to live in the Canyon Gate neighborhood to join. The Social tier leaves out racquet sports, so a family joining for junior tennis needs a golf or racquet membership. The Membership Director can tailor a membership, and the club offers tours.
The club's main line is 702-363-0303.

First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Canyon Gate Racquet Shop before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
