About the Program
Eastside Christian Church holds Sunday services at 9:30am and 11am at its Las Vegas campus on East Warm Springs Road, and its Kidside children's ministry runs for kids from birth through 5th grade. The church also lists Jr High, High School and Young Adults ministries for older kids.
Kidside calls itself church for kids rather than childcare. Children hear a Bible lesson at every service, taught through worship, interactive lessons, games, crafts and hands-on activities. Preschool and elementary groups cover the same Bible story each week, so siblings can talk about it together at home, and the church suggests the Parent Cue App to help with those conversations. Eastside's Next Gen menu also lists a special needs ministry, so ask whether it meets at the Las Vegas campus.
Before your first Sunday, pre-register online, then stop at the Kidside Guest Kiosk when you arrive. The church says Kidside uses background checks and strict check-in procedures; ask the team how pickup works for your child's age group. Debbie Cox is the Las Vegas Kidside Coordinator and a good first contact for questions.
