About the Program
Desert Hills Baptist Church at 4401 S. Nellis Blvd. in Las Vegas has classes for kids from birth through the teen years, built around Sunday morning. Sunday School for all ages starts at 9:30 am, and Children's Church meets at 10:40 am, the same time as the worship service.
The Preschool Ministry covers babies through Kindergarten during regular services. Parents register a child before the session, get a security number for pickup, and should watch the reader board in the worship center, where that number appears if staff need you. Label diaper bags and bottles, pack a spare change of clothes, especially if your child is potty training, leave toys and snacks at home, and tell the workers about any food allergy.
The Children Ministry runs Sunday School, music and kids worship with creative activities and lessons. Teens have a youth ministry and a Youth Bible Study, and the church also holds a midweek worship service on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Senior Pastor R. Scott Hocker leads the church.
For questions about the kids classes, email lana@deserthillsbaptist.com or call the office at 702-451-2100.
