About the Program
Bible Baptist Church on Sandy Lane in the northeast Las Vegas Valley has Sunday and Wednesday programs for kids, with clubs for ages 3 to 6th grade and a teen class for grades 7 to 12. It is an Independent Baptist church, founded in 1965, that uses the King James Bible, and its services are traditional.
Sunday begins with Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 AM. Children's Church runs alongside the 11 AM worship service, and the 6 PM evening service has its own children's classes.
Wednesday night is the main youth night. From 6:30 to 8 PM, kids from age 3 through 6th grade meet in the Patch The Pirate Club, which mixes Bible lessons, music and activities, while grades 7 to 12 meet in the Water Walker Teen Class. Adults have Bible study and prayer at the same hour, so a whole family can come on one trip.
The church also plans teen activities and Family Nights. Pastor Mitch Serviss spent 11 years as the church's youth pastor and 20 years as a camp director. Call (702) 321-8040 to confirm the club schedule before your first Wednesday, or send a note through the contact form on the site.
