About the Program
iD Tech runs weeklong tech camps on the UNLV campus near the Strip, with day and overnight options for ages 7 to 17. Kids pick a course, such as coding in Python or C#, Roblox, Minecraft, Unreal Engine, robotics and BattleBots, or Blender and 3D printing, and spend about five hours a day on the computer. The rest of the day is lunch in the dining hall and outdoor games on the campus fields.
For day campers, check-in is 8:30 to 9am and pick-up is 4:30 to 5pm. On the last day, the Friday Family Showcase lets you see what your child built, and kids go home with a transcript and a USB of their project files.
Teens ages 13 to 18 can sign up for iD Teen Academies instead, a 2 week overnight-only program. The UNLV page lists camps starting at $1,399 and academies starting at $4,999. A payment plan lets you hold a spot for as little as $375, a second course saves $50, and each referral earns a $25 credit.
The change and cancellation rules differ between iD Tech pages (one says free changes up to 14 days out, the Summer '27 page says no-cost cancellations before March 1), so ask which rules apply when you register.
