About the Program
Knickerbocker Park is one of three parks in the Providence community of Las Vegas, at Shaumber Road and Dorrell Lane. The HOA calls it a multigenerational park, and for kids the draw is the playgrounds plus a splash pad for cooling off in the summer heat.
There is a dedicated baseball field, and the southern part of the park has a nature trail with workout stations along it. There are separate large and small dog parks, so the family dog can come along, and the park looks out over the Las Vegas skyline.
If your kids want courts instead, Huckleberry Park at 10325 Farm Road in the same community adds basketball, tennis and pickleball, two playgrounds and a large splash pad. The Promenade on Egan Crest Lane is a walking park with a playground.
