About the Program

Brain Balance Center of Summerlin, on West Lake Mead Blvd in Las Vegas, runs the Brain Balance program for ages 4 to 24, aimed at kids and teens who struggle with focus, behavior, mood, sensory processing, motivation or schoolwork. The same team runs a second center in Henderson on Coronado Center Dr, and there is an adult program too.

The program mixes physical and sensorimotor exercises, academic skills practice and nutrition coaching, with a nutrition coach for one-on-one sessions. Kids can come to the center three times a week to work with coaches, or families can choose a parent-led at-home version with a weekly video check-in from a program coach. Everyone gets access to a program portal with helper videos and nutrition content.

It starts with a 1-to-2-hour assessment made up of sensory, physical and cognitive activities, and that assessment sets your child's plan, length and cost. Brain Balance says it is not a medical program, does not diagnose, and is not covered by health insurance, so plan to pay out of pocket and ask for the full cost in writing before you commit. Three visits a week is a real time commitment during the school year, so look at your after-school schedule first. Call 702-778-9500 to book the assessment.
