About the Program
Summerlin AYSO Region 1258 is the volunteer-run AYSO soccer region for Summerlin. Kids can start at 4 and play through 18 when enough players sign up, and AYSO's rules mean everyone plays and teams are balanced.
Registration is $140 per player per season, plus the $25 AYSO national fee, which you pay once per membership year that runs fall through spring. That covers a full uniform, a picture package, a keepsake, volunteer coaching and player insurance. Watch the site for spring season registration.
Game day depends on age. Schoolyard and 6U play Friday nights at Crossings Park on Crestdale Lane and practice 30 minutes before the game. 8U and older play Saturdays at Summerlin Centre Community Park on Marketwalk Place. Practice grows with age: one 60 minute session a week at 8U, two at 10U and 12U, and two 90 minute sessions at 14U and up.
Bring shin guards, closed shoes and a ball sized for the division. Refunds cover the division fee only, until the first week of practice. If your child lands on a waitlist, signing up to coach or referee is how new teams open. Questions go to 702-624-2530.

Special Needs Support
How this program accommodates different needs
Based on the provider's published information. Confirm the specifics for your child before enrolling.
First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Summerlin - AYSO Region 1258 before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
