About the Program

Kids' Co-op is a nonprofit, non sectarian parent cooperative preschool founded in 1982 with a grant from the Junior League of Las Vegas, and it says it is the only registered parent cooperative preschool in Nevada. That word cooperative is the whole deal: parents work as teaching assistants in the classroom, maintain the building and grounds and run fundraisers, in exchange for a play based program with a 4 to 1 child to adult ratio. The program is open to ages 2 through Pre-K, toilet training is not required, and classes follow NAEYC practices. For 2026 to 2027, 2s meet Tuesday and Thursday 9 to noon, a 2s and 3s class meets Monday and Wednesday, 3s meet Tuesday through Thursday until 12:15, and 4s Pre-K runs Monday through Friday until 12:30, with afternoon enrichment add ons until 3:30 once a child turns 3 and an optional Lunch Bunch. Kids must be the qualifying age by August 1. Summer camps are offered for current and alumni families.
