About the Program
Wetlands Park Nature Center is the main building of Clark County Wetlands Park in east Las Vegas, and an indoor option for a family outing on a hot day. The 10,000-square-foot Exhibit Gallery uses interactive displays, dioramas and art to show the park's habitats, wildlife and history.
The Auditorium plays themed movies about the park, and the Nature Store in the lobby sells kids' activities, drinks and snacks. If you pack a lunch, the climate-controlled Lizard Lounge is the only place in the Nature Preserve where picnicking is allowed, and cooking is not permitted. Outdoor picnic spots are at the Duck Creek, Pabco and Wells Trailheads and at Neighborhood Park. Call (702) 455-7522 for current hours before you go.
