About the Program
Siena Golf Club, an 18-hole course on Siena Monte Avenue in Las Vegas, takes part in Youth on Course each summer, June through August only. During that window, youth tee times are standby only, every day after 3 PM, and the rounds are walking.
After 3 PM, players who are at least 16 and have a valid driver's license can rent a cart for a fee. Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt designed it against the Spring Mountains, and there is a pro shop on site.
Summer afternoons here are hot, so bring plenty of water for a walking round. Call the golf shop at 702-341-9200 with questions before you head out.

First Visit Guide
What most junior golf programs expect. Confirm the details with Siena Golf Club before you go.
What to bring
- Sneakers. Juniors don't need golf shoes to start.
- Hat, sunscreen, water
- Clubs only if you own junior-length ones. Programs and ranges usually lend junior sets, so ask first.
Before you go
- Check the dress code. Some courses still want a collared shirt, even on juniors.
- In the cooler months when everyone remembers golf exists, book range and clinic times ahead.
The first visit
Junior clinics start on the range with grip and stance, then short game. Kids don't play actual holes for a while, and that's normal.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Golf is quiet, spread out, and moves at your own pace, which makes it a genuinely good landing spot for kids who find team sports loud. Early morning tee times are the calmest.
