About the Program
Los Prados Golf & Country Club is a community-owned course in Las Vegas, run by the Los Prados Community Association and surrounded by 1,358 homes. The course plays to a par of 70 at just under 6000 yards.
Every posted rate includes the cart. Prices differ for Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday, local golfers pay less than non-residents, and twilight rounds after 1:00 PM cost less again; the twilight special adds a hotdog and a fountain soda or draft beer. Groups of 12 or more can ask for a discount, and the rates page on the club site lists current prices.
Check the dress code before you bring a young golfer: collared shirts, shorts to mid-thigh or longer, and soft spikes or soft rubber soles (tennis shoes are fine). Non-residents can book up to 90 days ahead and residents 14 days ahead. Call the pro shop at (702) 645-5696 to ask about junior rates or lessons.

First Visit Guide
What most junior golf programs expect. Confirm the details with Los Prados Golf & Country Club before you go.
What to bring
- Sneakers. Juniors don't need golf shoes to start.
- Hat, sunscreen, water
- Clubs only if you own junior-length ones. Programs and ranges usually lend junior sets, so ask first.
Before you go
- Check the dress code. Some courses still want a collared shirt, even on juniors.
- In the cooler months when everyone remembers golf exists, book range and clinic times ahead.
The first visit
Junior clinics start on the range with grip and stance, then short game. Kids don't play actual holes for a while, and that's normal.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Golf is quiet, spread out, and moves at your own pace, which makes it a genuinely good landing spot for kids who find team sports loud. Early morning tee times are the calmest.
