About the Program

Battle Born Fencing Club is an épée club on South Rainbow Boulevard that takes kids from age 4 through the teen years, plus a separate adult class. Classes are split by age. Pre-youth (ages 4 to 6) meets Monday 4 to 5 PM and Saturday 10 to 11 AM and leans on games and drills. Youth (ages 7 to 12) meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 4 to 5 PM plus Saturday mornings, and kids bout with electric scoring gear. The teen group (ages 13 to 17) works for brand new fencers, kids moving up from youth, and teens who just want to fence for fun. It is also the path into the club's invitation-only competitive group.

Tuition is posted by how many days a week your child comes. Pre-youth lists $125 a month for one day a week or $170 for two. Youth and teen classes list $155, $200 and $240 a month for one, two or three days a week. Budget another $35 a month to rent equipment, since that fee is separate from tuition.

The gym has 14 full-length strips, and fencers who own their gear can come to open fencing for $40 a visit. The club is closed Sundays. If you want your child started before CCSD winter break, call 702-268-7578 and ask which class has room.
