About the Program
Reflections Dance Center is a neighborhood dance studio on North Rainbow Boulevard (Suite 130) that has been in the valley for more than 30 years and has been run by Rachel Roberts since 2015. It teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tumbling, pom and Broadway-style classes for Ages 2 to 18 and up.
The youngest dancers start in Tiny Toes and Me, a Thursday class for children 18 and a half months to 3 years, then move to Tap/Ballet Combo for Ages 3 to 6 or Tiny Tumblers for Ages 3 to 5. Older kids pick classes by style and level. Most run weekday afternoons and evenings starting around 4:15 PM, with Saturday morning tumbling, hip hop, contemporary and jazz. A new student's first class is free.
Tuition for 2026-27 is set by hours per week: $65 a month for one hour, $110 for two, and $300 for unlimited classes. Registration is $50 per dancer and $30 for each added sibling, and military families and siblings get 10% off tuition. Recitals add $100 each, and a drop-in class is $25. Tuition is the same no matter how many weeks are in the month; missed classes can be made up within that month, and payments after the 7th carry a $25 late fee.
Leotard and tights cover most classes.

First Visit Guide
What most dance studios expect. Confirm the details with Reflections Dance Center before you go.
What to bring
- Leggings or shorts with a fitted top, nothing your child can trip on
- Bare feet or socks are fine for a trial. Don't buy ballet, tap, or jazz shoes until the studio tells you the exact style and color they want.
- Hair pulled back, water bottle
Before you go
- Ask about the dress code before you buy anything.
- Come early for the waiver and to find the right studio room.
- Ask how parents watch. Some studios have windows, some have lobby monitors, some are drop-off only.
The first visit
A trial class is normal: warm-up, moving across the floor, and a short routine. The recital and costume fees come months later. Ask when those decisions are due so nothing surprises you.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Mirrors, music, and a room full of kids is a lot at once. Ask if your child can watch a class first, and whether the studio runs smaller classes.
