About the Program
Battle Born Basketball LLC is a Las Vegas club that runs year-round competitive teams for boys ages 14 to 16. Teams practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at Harney Middle School, and once a player registers, schedules and updates come through the TeamSnap app.
Costs come in pieces, so budget for all of them. The coaches page lists a training and practice fee of $125/month ($375/season), a league fee that depends on which league the team enters, tournament fees that typically run $75 to $125 per tournament, and a required $100 uniform fee that covers a reversible jersey and shorts. The teams page says the practice fee depends on the number of players and lists the uniform fee as TBD, so ask for current fees before you commit.
Director Devon Setzer has coached youth basketball since 2018 and served 14 years in the U.S. Army. The club also runs The Return Skills Clinic before the school season to give players extra reps. For questions or sponsorship, email battlebornvegas702@gmail.com.

First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Battle Born Basketball LLC before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
