About the Program
Southern Highlands Little League is the Little League program for the Southern Highlands area in the south valley. It runs a fall ball season, with weeknight games in the evening and Saturday games starting in the morning.
Divisions run from Tball and Rookie up through Minor and Major. Little League sets divisions by league age, and the site links to the official league age calculator.
Families new to the league should watch the site for the next registration window. The league also hosts family events like a fall Trunk or Treat, so check the events list on its site. Email the league through the site about fees and field locations.

First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Southern Highlands Little League before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
