About the Program
Miracle League Las Vegas is a nonprofit baseball league for children with cognitive or physical challenges. It plays on its own ball field, which got a new surface in 2023 thanks to the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. The league also runs soccer games, and registration is offered in English and in Spanish.
Most games are on Saturdays, on the hour from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for 20 teams. The league also has competitive divisions. Younger players can join the Cactus League, which plays up to 4 innings or 1 hour at 6 PM on Saturdays, and every player has a Player-Assist Buddy beside them for coaching during the play. Teams in the Major League Competitive Division play Thursday doubleheaders at 6 PM and 7:30 PM during the season.
Contact the league about ages and fees before you register, and ask when the next season's sign-ups open.
Families and friends can sign up as volunteers or buddies.

How this program accommodates different needs
Based on the provider's published information. Confirm the specifics for your child before enrolling.
First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Miracle League Las Vegas before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
