The Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival is a free, all-ages comic and cosplay festival at the Clark County Library on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, held once a year on the first Saturday in November. The library district runs it, so it feels more like a big, friendly library day than a convention center show. Grown-up fans come for the comics, cosplay, panels, workshops and the artist alley.
For kids, the part to know about is the Kids Courtyard, in the theater courtyard off the West Artist Alley: face painting, crafts and scavenger hunts, aimed at ages 5 to 12. Older kids and teens can try the drop-in voice acting sessions in the Teen Lounge, which are for ages 9 to 17, and there are movies and music in the library's Main Theater during the day.
With little ones, go in the morning, do the Kids Courtyard first, and leave the panels for another year. If your family is into graphic novels, it's an easy one to put on the fall calendar in Las Vegas.
Dates, prices and rules come from the organizer and change every year, so check the official site before you go. PlayPivot is an independent family guide and is not affiliated with Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. Last updated Monday, October 19, 2026.
