About the Program
Champions runs before and after school care right on the Somerset Skye Canyon school campus on North Shaumber Road in the northwest valley. It is a KinderCare Education program, open to students in grades K-8 (ages 5 to 14). Kids do art, dramatic play, math and science activities, with some time to pick what they want to do.
For the 2026/2027 school year, mornings run 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and afternoons 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Prices are posted by the week. Before school is $35 a week for 1 to 2 days or $50 a week for 3 to 5 days. After school is $54 a week for 1 to 2 days or $90 a week for 3 to 5 days. Registration is $60 per student or $100 per family, and siblings, school staff and military families get a discount.
There is also a short Champions Hour for kids who wait on an older sibling from middle school before walking home.
You enroll online, and your child can start 48 hours later. Changes for next week are due by Wednesday or a drop-in fee applies. Non-school full days cost $55 a day, so ask whether care is open on Nevada Day, the last Friday in October, since dates follow the school's calendar.
