About the Program
Calvary Chapel Green Valley in Henderson runs CCGVKids, a children's ministry for nursery through elementary that meets during every service: Saturdays at 6pm, Sundays at 8:00, 9:45 and 11:30AM, and Wednesdays at 6pm. The church is on W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy.
Kindergarten through fifth grade classes study the same Scripture passage the main service covers, taught at each age level, and every child brings home THE FAMILY PAGE to talk it over as a family. Toddlers and preschoolers get hands-on Bible stories, and the nursery cares for babies so parents can sit through the service.
Fifth graders can join Foundation for Fifth Grade (F5G), which meets Sundays at 11:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. September through May, with pool parties, BBQs and movie nights outside class. The church also lists junior high and high school ministries, and its Youth Ministry meets Sundays at 11:30am and Wednesdays at 6:00pm.
Beyond weekly classes, there is a Fine Arts Camp for 2nd to 8th graders covering canvas art, music, drama, culinary art and astronomy, plus VBS and kids' Christmas and Easter performances. On a first visit, follow the CCGVKids signs. A team member will take your contact details, your child's name and birthday and any special instructions, and only adults you authorize can pick your child up.
