About the Program
Las Vegas Heat Surf is a youth soccer club based in Henderson for boys and girls from U3 through U19. It is a member of the Elite Clubs National League, and its teams train and play out of both Henderson and Summerlin.
The club is built as a ladder. The youngest players start in Sparks (U5-U8), with an extra Sparks Academy Training option, then move to Select (U9-U10), PRE (U11-U12) and the Platform teams (U13-U19), which include ECNL and ECNL RL squads. Families not ready for tryouts can start in the Recreational program, open from U3 to U18.
Competitive spots come through tryouts for U5 through U18/19, and the club posts field locations and age group times once they are set, so watch the site for the next tryout window. The club also runs clinics and hosts tournaments, including the Viva Super Cup, Surf Cup Southwest and a 3v3 Holiday Classic at Heritage Park with recreational and competitive divisions.

First Visit Guide
What most youth sports programs expect. Confirm the details with Las Vegas Heat Surf before you go.
What to bring
- Water, and then more water. In this valley the heat decides practice more than the coach does from May through September.
- Athletic clothes, sunscreen, and a hat for outdoor fields
- Sport basics if you own them. Lots of intro programs lend gear for trials, so ask before buying.
Before you go
- Confirm the exact field or court. The big parks have a dozen and the 215 traffic doesn't forgive a wrong guess.
- Summer schedules shift to early evening for the heat. Check the seasonal calendar.
- Day one usually has paperwork and team assignment, so come early.
The first visit
Expect drills and small-sided play. Leagues group by birth year. Before you commit, ask how many practices there are per game and where the games actually get played, because home field can mean Henderson one week and North Las Vegas the next.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Whistles and sideline noise are the hard part. Ask about clinic-style sessions that are skills only, with no game crowd, as a first step.
