Las Vegas Music School teaches private lessons at six spots around the valley, including The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, Downtown Summerlin, Tivoli Village, Town Square, Arroyo Crossing and The Gramercy, with online lessons as an option. The instrument list runs wider than most studios: piano, guitar, ukulele, banjo, bass, drums, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, cello, violin and viola, plus music theory and sound engineering. Lessons are once a week at the same day and time, and the school says it will help kids with their school band or orchestra music, which is handy once CCSD band season starts. Pianists, guitarists and drummers do not need to bring an instrument. A complimentary first lesson is offered.
