About the Program
GOLFTEC Henderson on West Horizon Ridge Parkway teaches indoor, one-on-one golf lessons, and the brand's youth program covers ages 6 to 17. The center also offers beginner, women's and senior lessons plus club fitting, so a parent and child can train at the same place.
New students usually start with a 60-minute Game Evaluation, listed at $99 for the first appointment. The coach talks through goals, watches swings and shots with video and swing data, and suggests what to work on first. The location page notes that the offer and price can vary by center, so confirm it when you book.
After that, families choose a plan. GOLFTEC sells 3, 6 and 12 month plans, ranging from up to 10 lessons on the shortest plan to up to 52 on the longest, and plans include 90 minutes of practice per week. Youth plans are discounted 30% OFF, though the actual price depends on the plan and the coach, so ask the Henderson center for a quote.
Lessons happen in climate-controlled indoor bays, which helps in a Henderson summer. Kids do not need their own clubs, since GOLFTEC provides clubs during lessons. The center is run by Wes Mosman, a PGA Associate. Call (702) 834-6370 to book.

First Visit Guide
What most junior golf programs expect. Confirm the details with GOLFTEC Henderson before you go.
What to bring
- Sneakers. Juniors don't need golf shoes to start.
- Hat, sunscreen, water
- Clubs only if you own junior-length ones. Programs and ranges usually lend junior sets, so ask first.
Before you go
- Check the dress code. Some courses still want a collared shirt, even on juniors.
- In the cooler months when everyone remembers golf exists, book range and clinic times ahead.
The first visit
Junior clinics start on the range with grip and stance, then short game. Kids don't play actual holes for a while, and that's normal.
For sensory-sensitive kids
Golf is quiet, spread out, and moves at your own pace, which makes it a genuinely good landing spot for kids who find team sports loud. Early morning tee times are the calmest.
