About the Program
Henderson Flag Football League (HFFL) runs youth NFL FLAG football in Henderson for kids from Pee Wee (ages 5 to 6) up to Seniors (ages 13 to 14), and its main league has been based at Heritage Park since 1996. In between are Bandits (7 to 8), Gremlins (9 to 10) and Juniors (11 to 12). A four-year-old can sometimes join Pee Wee when a parent coaches, with league approval.
Registration is $170 early bird and $195 after that, and the uniform comes with it. There is a payment plan, but no refunds, so check your season calendar first. Scholarships go through RCX Sports, which families contact on their own.
The regular season is 10 weeks with 10 games promised, followed by a two-week playoff for the top half of each division. Games fall on Saturdays between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm and run two 18-minute halves. Rec divisions mix all experience levels and give everyone equal playing time. Elite is the more competitive option, and families can enter a whole team there.
Players need athletic clothes, water and a mouthpiece, which is required. Cleats are recommended, but metal cleats are banned. Girls are welcome and the youth divisions are coed. When the heat is extreme, the league may shift game times or add water breaks.
