About the Program

Las Vegas Piano School is Dr. Maria "Masha" Pisarenko's private studio at 9862 W Tompkins Ave (89147), a few minutes off the 215 in the southwest. She trained at the Moscow Conservatory's school for gifted children and the Gnessin Academy, earned a doctorate in piano at UNLV, and teaches on the piano faculty at CSN and Southern Utah University. Lessons are in English or Russian.

She takes children from age 3, with 10 to 15 minute lessons for the littlest ones, and prepares older students for LVMTA competitions, ABRSM and RCM graded exams and the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts entrance audition. Online lessons are available.

Prices are posted plainly: $35 per short lesson for ages 3 and up ($120 a month for four), $60 per 30 minutes ($200 a month), $100 per hour ($360 a month).
