About the Program
Philippi Sports Institute (PSI) is a strength and speed training gym on South Tenaya Way in southwest Las Vegas with a Youth Program for young athletes and a separate High School Program. Youth sessions are small groups that work on straight-line speed, side-to-side agility, flexibility, core strength and strength training technique.
High school athletes get an assessment first, then a 90 minute program built around their sport and goals, and PSI says it can work around team workouts. Most sessions run 60 to 90 minutes. Groups meet Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 7 to 11 am, with Sundays closed. A free trial is offered through the site.
