About the Program
Las Vegas Center for Spiritual Living is a Science of Mind congregation in the northwest valley that runs a Sunday youth program during its morning service, with groups for ages 4 to 8, tweens ages 9 to 13 and teens.
The kids classes meet every Sunday from 10am to 11am while parents are in the 9:30 a.m. service, so the whole family can come in together on a Sunday morning. Lessons center on love, prayer and quiet meditation. Teens have their own group that meets weekly during service and wrote its own group intention.
Babies and toddlers under 3 stay with a parent, and the Happy Baby Room on the side of the sanctuary has 2 large windows and the service sound piped in, which helps if your little one is noisy. Services also stream live on Facebook and YouTube for weeks when getting out the door is too much.
The center says it welcomes every faith path. It follows the teachings of Ernest Holmes, membership is optional, and tithing is optional too. It is not connected to Christian Science or Scientology.
