Cosmic Cat Claw Arcade

Cosmic Cat Claw Arcade is a claw machine arcade at 7150 S Durango Drive, Suite 180, in the southwest valley, with free parking right out front. The machines are stocked with squishies, those soft palm-sized toys kids collect, including NeeDohs, and there is a big squishy shelf to shop if the claw is not cooperating.

Here is how a visit works. You buy tokens at the counter, and most machines take one. Tokens never expire, so leftovers carry over to the next trip. The arcade says each claw resets to the same strength on every play. Kids can also trade small plush at the counter for a bigger prize, which takes some sting out of a long losing streak.

The Squishy Bar is a seated craft session where kids decorate a keepsake box with gems and charms, then fill it with squishies they pick. It is $45 per child for 5 squishies or $55 per child for 7. Sessions run weekends at 10:00am and 11:15am and Fridays at 5:00pm, and seats are limited, so reserve ahead.

The arcade is open daily: 11:00am to 8:00pm on weekdays, 12:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday and 12:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday. Set a token budget before you walk in, and ask at the counter what tokens cost. Email parties@cosmiccatarcade.com about parties.
