Theravada Mental Health

Theravada Mental Health is a Las Vegas counseling practice that sees all ages, and for families it offers a teen therapist, a teen group, play therapy, family therapy and ADHD testing. The team has more than 50 therapists across 3 Las Vegas offices, and sessions can also be done by telehealth.

The teen group gives teenagers a place to talk with peers and practice coping skills, while play therapy uses play to help a client express emotions. Medication management is available too.

Fees depend on who you see. With a clinical intern, the first assessment is $135 and sessions are $120. With a clinician who is not an intern, the assessment is $160 and sessions are $145. For medication visits, the initial assessment is $200, then $150 or $180 per visit depending on tier. The practice takes many plans, including Medicaid through Anthem, Molina and CareSource, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare and UnitedHealthcare. It also says no one is turned away for inability to pay, with discounts based on family size and income. Give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule, since late cancellations cost $100.
