MISS EMILY’S PIANO PLACE

Miss Emily's Piano Place is a one teacher piano studio in Henderson where lessons happen in Emily's home studio, in your home, or online. Standard lessons are 40 minutes and may overlap with another student's time so kids can do "off the bench" work like listening, theory, composing or recording on an iPad while she works with someone else. Instruction centers on classical technique but covers folk, pop, jazz and sacred styles as students want them, and every kid goes home with a weekly practice sheet. Group performance classes are included in tuition, there are two recitals a year, and students are encouraged to enter the National Federation of Music Clubs festival to play for judges. Students bring a binder for assignments. Ages and rates are not posted, so use the contact page to ask about openings and pricing.
