About the Program

Vision Theatrical Foundation is not a voice or acting studio. It is a Las Vegas nonprofit founded by retired Metro police officer R. Byron Stringer that uses theatre to reach youth in crisis. Its main production, the Toe Tag Monologues, is a series of monologues drawn from real situations kids face, performed by teens for other teens, on topics like drug abuse, bullying, teen suicide, gang violence, self harm, school violence and human trafficking. Performances go to schools, universities, detention centers, conferences and youth camps.

Around the show the foundation runs Life Skills Workshops built on open conversation about harmful choices, Conversations with Toe Tag Monologues panels led by mental health professionals, and a 2nd Chance Job Skills Program for youth from low income households, those at risk of dropping out, or those leaving foster care or the justice system.
